Situated in Canberra, the National Gallery of Australia’s mission is to provide visitors with a cultural experience that inspires and enriches their lives. A diverse range of permanent displays, temporary exhibitions, public programs and workshops ensures access to the nation’s visual art collection for all Australians.

To reposition the NGA as an open, fun and inspiring cultural destination, a rebrand was required that spoke clearly, simply and authentically with its audience. The brand needed to convey the Gallery’s passion and excitement for visual art, be bold, eye-catching and confident. Initial rollout included stationery, brochure suite, exhibition signage, apparel and merchandise support.

Subsequent projects included the NGA Book. A 96 page hard cover publication featuring key works from the collection, program and installation imagery as well as key stakeholder information.
